Dodge unveils the Challenger SRT8 Project UltraViolet

Dodge took advantage of the 2012 SEMA Show to reveal the new Challenger SRT8 Project UltraViolet, a one-off model built in partnership with Jeff Dunham. The American muscle car gets both styling and performance improvements as follows.

Under the bonnet we find a Mopar 426 crate engine capable to produce 515 horsepower and 664Nm of torque.

Aesthetic improvements include a special purple and black finish, new front and rear bumpers, an aluminum grille, larger 22-inch HRE wheels, new rocker panels and a front splitter.

2013 MINI JCW GP officially priced in the US

The British people from MINI released official pricing figures for the high-performance John Cooper Works GP model in the United States.

Starting at $35,950, the new MINI JCW GP benefits from a 1.6-liter turbocharged power plant able to provide 215 horsepower and 280Nm of torque.

Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition hits the SEMA floor

Chevrolet unveiled a special version of the Camaro at the SEMA Auto Show, namely the Hot Wheels Edition. At the exterior, the new model gets a Kinetic Blue metallic finish, new 21-inch alloy wheels, a front splitter, redesigned hood and a ZL1 front grille.

The American car maker plans to offer this model both in Coupe and Convertible flavors.

2014 Range Rover Sport gets detailed

It seems that the folks at Autocar managed to get all the important details of the upcoming Range Rover Sport, a model which will be marketed as a 2014 year model.

The engine range of the new British SUV will include an entry-level V6 diesel capable to deliver 255hp and 624Nm of torque while a more powerful V8 offering 335hp and 699Nm of torque should be available as well.

Current rumors say that a hybrid model will be offered as well, a diesel-electric model to be more precise, which will develop 333hp and will enable a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7,4 seconds.

Lexus LF-LC concept revealed in Australia

The Japanese people from Lexus decided to bring the LF-LC concept to the Australian International Motor Show.

The prototype has been revealed for the first time earlier this year at Detroit but, this time, the concept got a little bit special.

New Dacia Sandero priced from £5,995 in the UK

Dacia released official pricing numbers for the new Sandero, a low-cost hatchback which is at its second generation. The entry-level model is powered by a 1.2-liter 75hp unit capable to return a fuel economy of 47,9mpg UK and 137 g/km CO2 emissions.

Next up is a smaller 0.9-liter TCe engine offering 90 horses and 54,3mpg UK fuel consumption while a 1.5-liter dCi with 90 horses and 74,3mpg UK completes the range.

New Opel Corsa 1.3 CDTI ecoFlex returns impressive fuel economy

The Germans from Opel released photos and details on the new Corsa 1.3 CDTI ecoFlex, a model able to return a fuel consumption of just 3,3 liters/100km (85,6mpg UK) which makes it the most frugal diesel in the range.

The model in question is the three-door variant and benefits from several fuel saving features such as a variable displacement oil pump, reworked ECU, new transmission and low rolling resistance tires.
