The Japanese people from Lexus decided to bring the LF-LC concept to the Australian International Motor Show.

The prototype has been revealed for the first time earlier this year at Detroit but, this time, the concept got a little bit special.

To be more precise, Lexus painted the new prototype in Opal Blue, a color inspired from the opal stone. Otherwise, we talk about the same hybrid car powered by an Atkinson-cycle engine and an electric motor for a total output of 500 horsepower.

The exterior and interior design was developed in California, an upcoming production model being rumored to get inspiration from this concept.

“The all-new Opal Blue exterior is inspired by the lustrous base colour found in the naturally occurring semi-precious opal stone of outback Australia,” says Lexus.

According to some rumors, in the coming two years, Lexus may produce a similar model called LC 600h. Under the bonnet we should find a 5.0-liter V8 and an electric motor providing about 500 hp and a 0-100 km/h sprint in near 5 seconds.
