2017 Suzuki Jimmy a Stone’s Throw but not Quite Far

Who doesn’t really know the cute, compact, and useful Jimmy SUV Suzuki’s been pushing around since 1998? Yeah, in case you are wondering, it’s the same as the 2013 iteration, minus all those little things that for some make the difference, like the HID light kit or the slightly modified front grille, or the two-tone well assorted paintjob.

If Wildcat doesn’t mean much more than a cat to you then you definitely haven’t heard of the Bowler Wildcat or about their collaboration which ended in Wildcat taking over Bowler. Now, the funny thing is Wildcat also decided to expand its territory and move over to the SUV section. So what was their victim of choice?

Well, it couldn’t have been any other fine SUV, other than the Defender LS3. Now the Wildcat Defender LS3 V8 110 XS SW, despite its uninspired name, has proven itself to be quite reliable. Apparently the guys over at Wildcat were able to push the available setup and net about 430HP and 398 lb-ft torque out of the 6.2L engine the LS3 was equipped with. Read more »

Lexus to Participate in the Australia V8 Supercars Series

It’s no surprising intel that just a couple of years ago the only two manufacturers to actually participate in the Australian V8 Supercars series were Ford and Holden. Apparently the latest possible addition to the far long list of manufacturers could include Lexus. Yeah, you read right, Lexus.

It’s already a fact that the recent economic crisis has forced car sales to drop and the most affected manufacturers are those of brands aimed at mid-high end customers. 2015 Kia Carnival to Arrive in February in Aussie

While Kia may not be of interest to many, given the plentitude of asian manufacturers on the already overcrowded market, I think most will reconsider soon enough, seeing as Kia is gaining speed and gaining terrain at the same time with cheap and well built models.

There’s no doubt Honda has been a successful car manufacturer right from the start, however, even in this position, running out of stock for a car that’s been shown once or twice around the world before being put in production is a statement in itself.

Even though rally cars are not of any interest to most of the car companies, when it comes to growing numbers, the Czech automaker, Skoda, decided to take a bold and brave new direction and grabbed the chance that the Essen motor show provided to show their latest concept car, the Skoda R5, a masterfully pieced, modern, well built, pure breed race car.

The R5 concept rally car is based on the quite well-known by now Skoda Fabia and while most of you might say “Not another Fabia revamp!”, I actually think this one is worth looking at. Yes I might be biased towards the fine art of rally racing, but the sheer joy that neon green brings to the aggressive car ensemble, is hardly overlookable. Read more »
